Alexandria Memory Care is an approximately 74,000 sf Memory Care facility located in Alexandria, Virginia. The project consists of a three story memory care facility, underground parking, surface parking and various amenities and two wander gardens on site. The site was very constrained and required extensive coordination with the Architect, Landscape Architect, Owner and City staff to achieve the project goals and address the community concerns to reach rezoning and development special use permit approvals. The site water quality and quantity controls are provided by underground filter systems and pump vaults in order to maximize the above ground potential and land use. The project is expected to start construction in early 2016.
